Mountain Travel and Rescue (MTR) Enhancement Seminar

The course all VT Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue personnel are required to take will be offered to NSP patrollers.
Drew Clymer, the VT SAR Coordinator, will conduct the course. In addition to basic search and rescue, the course will demonstrate how to communicate with a lost person and to the state (VT SAR Coordinator) on backcountry S&R.
This will also include a navigation practical. The course will be listed on NSP as a MTR Enhancement Seminar.

Time: July 27, 2024 – 8am-12PM,
Gear: Dress to be outside for land navigation intro. Bring a compass GPS optional
